Bring your education market into focus.
Aperture brings the education market you sell into together in one workspace: schools and academy trusts across the UK, public schools and districts across the US, colleges and universities, local authorities, international schools and education data for more than 200 countries. It sizes the market against your product and tells you who to go after first, and why. Now inside Claude.

Most EdTech teams sell from a spreadsheet and a hunch.
Your market size is a guess.
Investors, boards and your own team want a number you can defend. Most teams are working from an old list and an estimate.
Target lists go stale.
Lists get built by hand, bought once and never refreshed, so reps chase schools that were never a fit.
Trusts hide the real decision.
One trust or district decision can cover dozens of schools. If you can't see the structure, you can't sell to it.
Event leads die in a spreadsheet.
Conference and webinar enquiries get typed up late, chased late and lost.

Choose your market
Switch between UK & International and US & Global. Every figure keeps its own source and year, and nothing is converted or combined without saying so.
Schools across the UK
Search school records from England, Scotland and Wales, with a dedicated view of Northern Ireland's 2025/26 school census.
US schools and districts
Search US public schools, school districts, colleges and universities from official NCES data, with pupil numbers, staffing, district geography and Census estimates of school-age population. Save watchlists and compare institutions side by side.
Academy trusts and membership
Explore England's academy trusts, their member schools, pupil totals and phase mix. Trusts are tiered by size, and you can find trusts where any member school matches your criteria.
Colleges, universities and local authorities
Find UK colleges and universities and more than 6,000 US institutions by name and location, and explore UK local authorities and their schools.
International school data
Search international school records by name or location, and filter by country, curriculum and department.
See the world market
Compare more than 200 countries on enrolment, teachers and completion, using World Bank and UNESCO data. Pick the markets you care about and every figure shows its source and year.
Filter on what matters
Nation, region, local authority, phase, school type, pupil numbers, SEND, free school meals and trust size. Known and unknown data are kept separate, so a gap is never counted as a zero. Summary dashboards and charts by sector and region, plus local authority needs data, with dated and sourced figures.
Find schools in plain English
Describe the schools you want, such as 'primary schools with more than 300 pupils', and Aperture turns it into filters you can review, refine and save as a list.

Know where the value is.
TAM and SAM analysis
Your total and serviceable addressable market in pounds, calculated from your own pricing: per pupil, per school, tiered or with minimums. Break it down by nation, region and local authority, with a map. Click any chart to see the schools behind it. Market sizing currently covers UK and international markets.
Ideal customer profiles
Turn your best customers into rules: must-haves, nice-to-haves and exclusions. Matches get a fit score, a data-confidence rating and the reasons behind it.
Compare markets
Put up to four markets or profiles side by side on the same data snapshot.
See where you already win
Match your customers to official records to see penetration and the whitespace inside the trusts you already serve.
Find more like your best customers
Start from a school, district or university and find others with a similar public profile: type, size, phase, sector and location.

Turn focus into pipeline.
Build target lists
Create a list from any search or set of results. Add matching results in one go, not just the page you can see. Lists are shared with your team, editable and export to CSV. Nothing is ever sent automatically.
Instant price estimates
Estimate the price for any school or trust from your own price tiers, in seconds.
Capture every enquiry
Branded forms and webinar pages for your events and campaigns, each with a short link and a QR code for your stand. Leads are tagged to the event, duplicates are caught and school leads get a price estimate.
One place to follow up
Every lead in one inbox with notes, search, event filters and CSV export. Each lead shows the quote captured, product interest and the school's trust, and you choose who it goes to.
Report on every event
Leads by event, month and source, how many attendees became leads, clicks on your booking link, and a CSV for your board pack.
Ask about your enquiries
Ask the built-in assistant about your enquiries and quotes in plain English, and save conversations to pick up later. For market and directory questions, use Aperture in Claude.

Ask your market a question.
Connect Aperture to Claude and ask in plain English, across everything above. Claude uses Aperture's own searches, sizing and profiles, then answers with official figures and the date of every source. No exporting, no spreadsheets, no guessing.
Board and investor packs
Market size, segments and geography in minutes, with sources your board can check.
Account preparation
Key context on a school or academy trust before a call: size, structure, needs and fit.
Faster ramp for new hires
New reps ask questions of the market from week one instead of learning a spreadsheet.

Works with Claude. Requires an Aperture account. Claude currently works with UK and international data; US and global data is coming.
One workspace for the whole team.
Invite your team
Everyone gets their own login and a role: owner, manager, rep, analyst or event operator. Each person sees what they need, and no more.
Shared research, private activity
Markets, profiles and target lists are shared across your organisation, while your notes, leads and customer data stay private to you and separate from the shared reference data.
Everyone can use Claude
Each team member connects Aperture to Claude with their own login, and Claude only sees what their role allows.
What changes for your business.
A pipeline built on fit
Effort goes into the schools and trusts most likely to buy, not the ones that are easiest to find.
A market size you can defend
Investors, boards and partners see the same evidence you do.
Selling at trust level
See which decisions cover many schools, and plan around them.
Faster ramp
New team members understand the market in days, not months.
No more stale lists
Official data, refreshed and dated, instead of a list you bought last year.
Every enquiry captured
Event and webinar leads land in one place, tagged and ready to follow up, not in a notebook.
Built on official data. Private by design.
Official sources
Aperture uses official education data, including the Department for Education's Get Information About Schools and Explore Education Statistics, the Scottish pupil census, Welsh PLASC and the Northern Ireland school census. In the US it uses the National Center for Education Statistics (Common Core of Data, EDGE and IPEDS) and the US Census Bureau's American Community Survey. Country data comes from the World Bank and the UNESCO Institute for Statistics. Figures show where they came from and when. Where data is missing, Aperture says so.
Your data stays yours
Markets, profiles and target lists are shared within your organisation. Your notes, leads and customer data stay private to you and separate from shared reference data. Team roles control access. Aperture never contacts schools or sends anything on your behalf.
Coverage varies by source, nation and institution type, and not every field is available for every record. Census data describes a reporting period and may not reflect current status. Missing information is shown as unknown, never as zero.
